About HKDSI

The Hong Kong Diaspora Studies Initiative (HKDSI) was first formed in 2024 by a group of social scientists who share a common interest in the scholarship about Hong Kong diaspora. Our goal is to document and research about the in-betweenness of Hongkongers, as they depart from their homeland and settle in a new host country.

The findings from our survey and data analysis will be shared here as we progress.
